Does Covenant Eyes show Incognito Mode? ›

Incognito Mode will not disable your Blocking Level or Custom Website List on any device. On computers and iPhones®/iPads®, we monitor Private Browsing! On Android™, some browsers allow us to capture screenshots while you're using Incognito Mode/Private Browsing, and some do not.

Covenant Eyes is not compatible with phones that don't have internet. Different tools, like phones without the internet, can help people overcome p*rnography.

Covenant Eyes will monitor and report personal photos sent between spouses on Android™ devices. Our monitoring service scans the entire device for explicit content, including text messaging apps. If you and your partner send personal images to each other, we suggest your partner is your only ally.

In Incognito, none of your browsing history, cookies and site data, or information entered in forms are saved on your device. This means your activity doesn't show up in your Chrome browser history, so people who also use your device won't find your activity.

The Covenant Eyes app captures a screenshot on your device at least once per minute. Our artificial intelligence (AI) program looks for explicit content in the screenshot. Next, the software shrinks the screenshot on your device, blurs it, and modifies it to protect your private information.

Covenant Eyes cannot screenshot your apps' activity on iPhones and iPads. So instead of taking screenshots of your apps, we monitor all your domains (web traffic) with a VPN-like background process. In the Victory app's Activity Feed, we'll list explicit domains as Likely-Explicit DNS Connections.

Ensure you've had conversations with your kids about everything, including p*rnography and predators. Both are abundant on Snapchat. Use BARK or Covenant Eyes. They are the only 2 solutions that give you any insight into Snapchat activity on Android.

The Covenant Eyes filter blocks websites but does not block apps.

On iPhones and iPads with Covenant Eyes, some streaming apps (like Netflix and Hulu) will play their content and cast it to another device. However, other streaming apps (like Spectrum TV) won't play or cast content to another device because they detect our VPN.

If the Covenant Eyes menu is stuck on “analyzing” or there are no screenshots from your Android™ device in the Victory app's Activity Feed or email Check-in, uninstall and reinstall the Covenant Eyes app.

Screen Accountability

If the member uses Incognito Mode or Private Browsing and we can't capture activity, we notify the ally. You and your ally can use our free Victory app to review the screenshots and activity Covenant Eyes captured.

Secure: All messages are sent via HTTPS (a sealed encryption process). We also delete all messages after 27 days. Private: Covenant Eyes and Member Care Agents cannot view or see messages in Conversations.

Domain Monitoring

Covenant Eyes reports the root of the domain (i.e., facebook.com) instead of the entire website URL (i.e., facebook.com-user-profile-john-doe).

Part One: Turn on the Covenant Eyes Safari® Extension

Tap “Covenant Eyes.” Move the "Covenant Eyes" and the "Allow in Private Browsing" toggle switches to the right to turn them on (the switches will turn green). The "Allow in Private Browsing" option only appears on iPhones with iOS 17.

The only way to disable monitoring is to uninstall Covenant Eyes. You must have an Uninstall Code to uninstall Covenant Eyes on a computer. The Account Admin (Admin) can generate an Uninstall Code anytime. The Admin can also remove a member's Uninstall Permission so they cannot get an Uninstall Code.
